“Snake” & SharpFS

I decided to program a Snake game today to kill some time. Since everyone (hopefully!) knows what Snake is I’m not going into details about what the game is or how it works.

There’s nothing special about it, just your bog-basic Snake game. If you want to have a look at it here’s the public bitbucket repository: https://bitbucket.org/7BiTpsycho/snake

The game uses Unity3D as game engine. I decided not to upload a build since I did not want to waste space on my Dropbox account. Just download Unity3D 5.3.1 as you are good to go :) The source code is simple and understandable and uses XML comments where ever possible.

So, now to the important stuff: How’s SharpFS doing?

Currently SharpFS is “beyond my control”. I gave the project to a friend how works in software development professionally. I asked him to look over it once he finds the time to do so. Since he has stuff do on his own as well this may take some time. So I ask you for a bit more patience. It will be rewarded in the form of a product of far higher quality.

Sorry for not writing a blog post for so long, but I have been busy finishing another programming project for school. Since that out of the way my focus will now be back on programming and developing more assets for Unity. There might be something upcoming about the Inspector soon-ish, but I don’t want to promise anything.
